Metal Arts Studio

Hello
I’m Sean Stadler—artist, welder, and lifelong maker.
My artistic journey is driven by a deep fascination with the beauty and complexity of the world—the harmony of nature, the elegant laws of physics, and the boundless mystery of inspiration itself. I work across a wide variety of themes and mediums, including metalwork, woodwork, and illustration, with a decidedly rustic approach that emphasizes resourcefulness and sustainability through locally sourced and salvaged materials.
As a professional welder by trade, I’ve spent years honing the technical precision that now fuels my creative expression. Welding is where craftsmanship and imagination converge, allowing me to transform steel, fire, and vision into sculptural works that explore the intersection of science, psychology, and design. My inspiration flows from God, nature, physics, and the unseen forces that shape life—from the delicate structure of a dragonfly’s wing to the molecular patterns that underpin existence.
Each piece I create is a study in contrast: strength and delicacy, chaos and order, nature and industry. Whether it’s a wall-mounted molecule or a towering insect in flight, my goal is to spark curiosity, connection, and a sense of wonder—inviting viewers to see the invisible forces of our world made tangible through art.
